We ventured to Cataloochee for the first time and saw many elk as the sun was setting.

This was the first trip that we saw black bears, which was fascinating and quite interesting to watch.

Again, using Apple’s Motion, I’ve added a few more images and I’ve also tried to be a little more creative in the usage. It’s a learning process, but it’s coming slow if not steady. It’s still baby steps, but I think this could be a useful and interesting way to help tell a visual a story.

I really liked the original image after toning it down to black and white, but I wanted to give it some movement, so I took it into Apple’s Motion and turned it into a 3D layer. Then I cut Sami out of the background, placed it on a different layer and manipulated the camera to make it appear as if it’s 3D. Pretty neat, albeit not terribly original.
